I snapped a photo of some buttons and actually went through this bunch for the first time.




I found three imported Moonstone buttons that have never been used {still attached to their cardboard tag} marked Germany U.S. - Zone. Wow!!!

I also discovered four imported rhinestone buttons still attached to their tag and marked Western Germany.

A third nifty find is a group of nine button still on tag and wrapped in plastic that are marked "sewn in Haiti".

short week

We had a busy Sunday and Monday here.  Sunday afternoon and evening were mostly spent getting acquainted with my new iPhone 4S.  My husband is very generous and super amazing.  Monday was an enjoyable day out with my daughter searching for {and finding} new apparel to add to her closet.

Today...  Tuesday.  I ran a few errands this morning and am finally settling in to get started with photographing/discovering items to add to the etsy shop.  Sewing is also on the agenda for this morning.

cards plus

This is the general idea of the business cards/purchased item inserts that I created this evening.  Tomorrow or quite possibly later this evening I will work on the postcard advertisements that I want to make to insert in my lilgirlshop orders.  I will include my IG girls and local friends that are crafty also on these postcards.  I want to promote my creative friends to others.

Well, I am off to watch a movie with my daughter and then enjoy pizza with the family.  I have spent entirely too much time on the computer today.  Hahaha...  But I did get some good stuff accomplished.  I am excited about this new venture and believe it will re-invigorate my other shop as well.

She said "yes"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, a total overuse of exclamation points in any other person's mind but right now there are not enough exclamation points in the world for how happy I was to read that she gave me the go ahead to proceed with the images.  And, the previous sentence was probably a total run-on but I am not going back to fix it.

With her approval, I am going to start going through supplies to photograph and list.  I will post images here on the blog using my iPhone and will use my digital camera to snap shots for the store.

And with two etsy businesses, this and my lilgirlshop... I will have oodles to keep me busy.  Though I must keep in mind that when it rains, it pours.  I have a feeling something big is on the horizon.

I asked my dear sweet {super super super sweet} mother-in-law if I could sell some of her sweet mama's craft supplies that I inherited.  She gave me her blessing.  I haven't told her that I created an image for my shop based on an image of her having fun this past summer at the beach.  I should really do that.

[pause for a quick phone call and photo exchange]

I sent her an email.  She wasn't on facebook.  I am kind of nervous to find out what she thinks.
